Founded in 1991 by Peter Thomas of the BBC and Adrian Loader of FWO Bauch. The combination of knowledge and passion led to the production of PMC's first device – the BB5-A, an active studio master monitor. This design was enthusiastically received and used by BBC studios Maida Vale and Metropolis Mastering. To this day, it remains a global benchmark and is used in Prince's studios, Stevie Wonder's Wonderland, Hospital HDTV Broadcast London, and by renowned classical music recording companies such as Decca and Harmonia Mundi. Many of today's soundtracks have been created using PMC, by such prominent composers as Henry Jackman, Thomas Newman, Tyler Bates, and John Debney.
