We kindly inform you that in order to complete the documents (user's manual, warranty card) or to obtain technical advice by phone or e-mail, to report a complaint, it is necessary to provide the serial number (Serial No.), which is located on the back of the device.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that, as a distributor, we are responsible only for equipment imported by E.I.C. Sp. z o.o. and placed on the market on the territory of the Republic of Poland. Only such devices are covered by the Guarantee provided by E.I.C. Sp. z o.o.

General provisions

  1. The service is a division of Electronic International Commerce Ltd.
  2. The service repairs equipment manufactured by Audio Physic, Fyne Audio, Opera, PMC, Quadral, Synthesis, Tannoy, Unison Research, distributed in Poland by their distributor E.I.C.
  3. The equipment should be delivered to the service in person or through a courier company indicated by the service (in the case of warranty repair, the shipping cost is covered by E.I.C.).
    Equipment sent for repair should be in factory packaging. In case of its absence, you should use
  4. packaging with parameters similar to the factory. This is to protect the equipment from mechanical damage during transportation.
  5. Required Documents:
    1. Warranty repair: a completed warranty card, proof of purchase, a piece of paper with a description of the defect, return address and contact telephone number of the owner of the equipment.
    2. Paid repair: a piece of paper with a description of the defect, return address and contact phone number of the owner of the equipment.
  6. The service provides information and technical advice on the damaged equipment of the above-mentioned companies at the telephone numbers listed above during service hours.
  7. If you wish to purchase accessories (e.g., remote controls), please send orders by e-mail, providing a contact phone number and possible shipping address.

Warranty


Dear Sirs

Thank you for purchasing a device imported to Poland by E.I.C. Ltd. We hope that this device meets all expectations associated with it. Our goal is to provide you with full, long-term, satisfaction with your choice. However, in the event of a malfunction of the device, which may occur within a period shorter than the statutory period protecting the consumer, we kindly ask you to bring it to our Central Service Center, in order to allow us to make the appropriate repair. The detailed conditions for repair and the procedures involved are set forth in the following provisions. We provide warranty for the period specified in the Warranty Card for products purchased in Poland, only at stores authorized and supplied by E.I.C. Ltd.

1 Warranty Period.

1.1 E.I.C. Ltd., being the general importer of the device, guarantees its proper functioning for the period according to the information, corresponding to the brand and type of the device, as stated on the Warranty Card.

1.2 The warranty shall cover the period starting from the date of acquisition of the device and shall continue uninterrupted for the warranty period applicable to the product.

1.3 In the case of extended warranty, any claim will be considered only if the product is registered within 30 days from the date of purchase shown on the bill. All information on the products covered by the promotion can be found at http://www.eic.com.pl/pl/Serwis/Gwarancja_rozszerzona. The extended warranty is extended upon certification. Otherwise, the standard warranty applies.

1.4 If the device is used for commercial activities, the warranty period is reduced to 3 months.

1.5 The warranty will be honored by the EIC Central Service upon presentation by the customer:
- A valid and legible proof of purchase with date of sale (bill)
- The claimed product with a legible serial number

2 Warranty Limitations.

2.1 The warranty covers only defects arising from causes inherent in the sold device itself.

2.2. The warranty does not cover defects resulting from operation of the device in a manner inconsistent with its intended use, defects resulting from installation or operation of the device in a manner inconsistent with its operating instructions, defects resulting from mechanical injuries to the device, including mechanical defects caused during transport, defects resulting from excessive sunlight, pollution, moisture of the device or its immediate environment, defects caused by inadequate power supply to the device (including connection to an ungrounded power outlet, if required), defects caused by surges in the power supply network, defects caused by atmospheric phenomena affecting the device (including lightning), defects resulting from the use of improper consumables, drawing or supplying power exceeding the parameters of the device contained in the operating instructions or on the rating plate.

2.3 The warranty does not cover normal operating activities associated with the use of the device, such as connection, programming or periodic cleaning.

2.4 The warranty does not cover claims for technical parameters, if they are in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

2.5 The warranty shall become null and void when unauthorized persons or technical services are found to have interfered with the device. In particular, this is the case when it is found that the warranty seals have been broken, modifications and structural changes have been made to the device.

2.6 The warranty shall become null and void when the device presented for repair has a removed, damaged or illegible serial number.

2.7 Lamps used in lamp equipment shall have a start-up warranty of 14 days from the date of purchase.

3. the place of warranty repair, and the method of delivery of the device for repair.

3.1 In the event that the device is found to be inoperative, please call the E.I.C. Central Service at +48 (22) 594 83 90 to arrange the appropriate repair procedure.

3.2 The defective device shall be delivered in person or sent by courier to the address of the Company's Central Service: E.I.C. Sp. z o.o. Central Service, 3/5 Luki Wielkie St.; 02-434 Warsaw.

3.3 In the case of courier shipments, in order to eliminate damage in transit, the equipment should be sent only by courier with parcel insurance up to the actual value of the equipment, in the mode "at the expense of the recipient" with the help of the E.I.C. designated. Ltd. courier company. Information about the local representative offices of the courier company, cooperating with E.I.C Sp. z o.o., you will find at +48 (22) 594 83 90.
The cost of such shipments will be covered in full by E.I.C. Sp. z o.o. Shipments "at the expense of the recipient" apply only to warranty repairs of equipment remaining on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

3.4 If another shipping option is selected, its cost shall be borne entirely by the sender. Such shipments sent "at the expense of the recipient" will not be accepted by the Central Service.

3.5 The equipment shall be delivered by prior arrangement in factory packaging to the E.I.C. Company Central Service. In the absence of factory packaging, E.I.C. Ltd. is not responsible for mechanical damage during transportation.

3.6 Kindly provide the device delivered for repair with a legible note showing the observed fault, the circumstances of its occurrence, the contact telephone number of the user and the exact return address (postal code necessary).

3.7 If the service accepts a device in which mechanical damage is not included in the description of the defect, and the factory packaging bears no signs of damage, it will be considered that the damage is known to the claimant and was caused by its use. The complainant will be immediately informed of this fact.

3.8 The complainant is responsible for the use of transport packaging appropriate for the device contained therein, and the manner of packing the shipment. The device, after repair, will be sent back to the complainant by courier at the expense of the Central Service of the E.I.C. Company. The Central Service does not have the ability to exchange/sell transport packaging. Therefore, the device will be sent back to the sender using the same transport packaging in which it was previously delivered to the Central Service.

3.9 The responsibility of the E.I.C. Central Service for the device delivered for repair applies only to the period from the time the device is accepted for service until the device is released to the courier, the user or a person authorized by the courier.

3.10. Transport damage caused by inadequate shipment protection is not subject to warranty repairs. The risk of damage to the device during transport remains entirely between the claimant and the courier company.

3.11. If it is determined that the request for warranty repair is unfounded, the Complainant will be charged shipping costs.

4 Responsibility and timing of repair

4.1 E.I.C. Ltd. shall make every effort to ensure that the warranty repair is carried out as soon as possible, not exceeding 30 days from the date of acceptance of the device to the Central Service.

4.2 In exceptional cases, such as when there is a need to import non-standard components from abroad, the repair period may be extended from that described above.

4.3 E.I.C. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect losses to property related to damage or malfunction of the device, for defects resulting from ordinary wear and tear of the product, intentional damage, negligence, unusual operating conditions, excessive use, failure to follow instructions provided by the manufacturer.

 

4.4 The liability of E.I.C. Ltd. shall not exceed the sums that can be obtained from the manufacturer making all reasonable efforts to correct the defect.

4.5 E.I.C. Ltd. shall not be liable to the buyer, and shall not be treated as inconsistent with the contract, for any delay in performance of the manufacturer's obligations or failure to perform them to the buyer, if the delay is caused by a factor beyond reasonable control, which may be force majeure or failure to comply with any statutory or local import or export restrictions, failure to perform its obligations by a third party for which E.I.C. Ltd. is unable to obtain redress, and changes in laws or regulations applicable to the product or to E.I.C. Ltd.

4.6 In case of any delay or prejudice of this type, E.I.C. Ltd. may cancel or rescind the contract by notifying the buyer in writing.

4.7 E.I.C. Ltd. at its sole discretion shall be entitled to fully satisfy the claims of the buyer by repairing free of charge, replacing the defective product or refunding the price paid to E.I.C. Ltd. the price.

4.8 E.I.C. Ltd. shall not be liable for any loss, expenses or other claims ( such as loss of profits, etc.) of damage related or connected with the delivery of the product or its resale or use, other than the liability expressly arising from the provisions of these terms and conditions.

4.9 The warranty period shall be extended by the time the device is repaired at the Central Service.

4.10 Any defective equipment or parts replaced under warranty shall become the property of the EIC service.

5. non-conformity of goods with the contract.

5.1 The provisions of this warranty card do not exclude, limit or suspend the rights of the buyer under the Consumer Law on non-conformity of goods with the contract.

6. disputes

6.1 Possible disputes shall be settled by the common court having jurisdiction over the place of residence of the importer E.I.C. Ltd. in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.

Extended warranty

The message should contain such information as brand, model, serial numbers and a scan of the products' proof of purchase.

Registration must be done within 30 days from the date of purchase of the columns.

After data verification, the Extended Warranty Certificate will be sent to you in an email.

WASTE MANAGEMENT COSTS

Information for customers of Electronic International Commerce Sp. z o.o. concerning the rates of waste management costs (kgo), which are a component of the price of equipment offered for sale in 2009, intended for households and defined in the classification as group 4, calculated on the basis of the weight of equipment introduced for sale. Effective as of January 1, 2009.

Basis:

  • Act of July 29, 2005 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (Journal of Laws No. 180, item 1495)
  • Law of November 21, 2008 amending the Law on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and amending certain other laws - signed December 9, 2008. - Article 25

EIC Sp. z o.o. is listed in the register of the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection (GIOŚ) under number EOOO1751W and has an Agreement with a Recovery Organization, which has taken over EIC's obligations under the above-cited Law and implementing regulations. The unit kgo rates per unit/set of equipment, will not be included in the VAT invoices, but are included in the Appendix to this letter and will be updated on an ongoing basis according to changes in the commercial offer.
